Welcome to the new NTHC Alumni Center.
We need both your help and your patience since this, the most permanent feature of the NTHC website, is an on-going project and requires the input and coordination of many of individuals.
We're looking for past rosters, adbooks, season records, game photos, tournament information, etc.
Any material you can provide would be appreciated. Text files and graphics can be e-mailed to Laura Brown. If you have documents that require special handling, we will treat them with care and return them in their original condition. .

Alumni Games 2011
Thursday, December 22 was a night of fun, camaraderie, memories and honor for New Trier Hockey. This year’s Alumni Night featured two games. The evening started with the Young Guns (30 and under), with teams coached by Bob Melton and Rob Malstrom. The teams were evenly matched, with Team Malstrom edging Team Melton 6-4.
Following the Young Guns game, current club President Randy Lauer honored the founding fathers of New Trier Hockey – Bert Keats, Chuck Lauer and Hugh Brower. To help make the evening more special, the games were officiated by seniors Ben Brower and Ted Lauer, bringing three generations together for our alumni event.
The event continued with the Legends game. This game featured players from both New Trier East and West, plus a couple of honorary attendees. Teams were lead by our esteemed President, Randy Lauer, and Vice President, David Brower. Team Brower edged Team Lauer 5-1.
The evening also featured a raffle for a vintage New Trier Banner - Adam Nelson was the big winner! Proceeds from the raffle and other spectator donations raised $276 for New Trier Hockey’s Goal and Assist Fund.

once rivals.....now teammates!!
After years of battling as hockey rivals, New Trier Green Alum Tyler Pecka and Fenwick Friar Alum Aidan Verbeke are not only teammates, but are roommates on the Dells Ducks. Pecka and Verbeke are off to a great start with the Dells Ducks (www.dellsduckshockey.com) , an expansion team in the MNJHL. It just goes to show you that in the world of hockey.....everyone is one big family! This is just another example that at the end of any day we are all on the same team of this great game of hockey!!
the success continues for.....
Tyler Pecka, Greg Ogard and Colby Atkinson, teammates from the 2010-11 New Trier Green team (2011 Red Varsity Illinois HIgh School Championship Team and 2011 National High School Championship Team) will be playing post high school hockey.
- Congratulations to Tyler Pecka who will be playing for the Dells Ducks a Tier 3 Junior Team,
- Congratulations to Greg Ogard who will be playing for the Coulee Chill NAHL and
- Congratulations to Colby Atkinson who will be playing for the Idaho Jr. Steelheads a Junior A team of the Western Hockey League.

The New Trier Alumni gathered on December 20th and played a very high spirited game.

The 2009 New Trier Alumni game was held on December 20th at the Winnetka ice arena. The players reconnected and had a great time at this annual event and many are looking forward to meeting again in 2010.

EDWARDS BURNS MALSTROM IN 2 O.T.
WINNETKA - December tis the season for the NTHC alumni to return to their old stomping ground and raise some, uh, you know... This year they didn't disappoint with an action-packed, 2-OT thriller.
Braving the -5 degree wind chill, fans came out in droves to pack a row of center ice bleachers to watch Team Edwards (White) take on Team Malstrom (Blue).
After three periods of regulation and one OT of 5-on-5 failed to settle the score, things got sick; the game went into a really, really, long shoot out with Team Edwards taking all the marbles. Final Score: White 10, Blue 9. S.O.G. 45-49.
We can't remember who scored the game-winner but we have it written on a napkin somewhere and possibly captured on video, too.
Thanks to all the alumni, their fans and the volunteers who came out for a great time. We'll see you again next year!
