New Trier Hockey Club

In a nice bit of revenge for a lopsided tournamet loss in Michigan last month, the White team beat Lake Forest, currently in 2nd place in Metro North, 5-3 at Heartland on Saturday afternoon.  Up 5-0 at the end of the 2nd, White got running clock and held off a spirited charge from the Scouts to take the win.  It was a true team effort, with goals from Arnold (2), Smart, Chudacoff and Steinken, outstanding defense and a strong showing in net from Hackley.  White has been hampered by injuries to several players for weeks; Powell and Kim are now back, and when Spitz and Paul return, the team will be at full strength.  Go White!
